How Oklahoma withholding is calculated
Actual period tables and allowance values
OW-2 revised 11/2025 is effective January 1, 2026. Each period uses its own published thresholds, base tax and allowance value: weekly$19.23, biweekly$38.46, semimonthly$41.67, monthly$83.33, quarterly$250, semiannual$500 and daily$3.85. Daily uses 260 representative payments. Quarterly and semiannual use printed tables, not scaled annual approximations. No extra standard deduction is subtracted from these already adjusted withholding tables.
Copy your actual OK-W-4
Choose Single, Married, or Married but withhold at the higher Single rate from your actual certificate. The estimate starts at Single/zero allowances without deciding entitlement or a legal default. Copy line 5 total allowances, including additional allowances already claimed. Do not add federal dependents again. Line6 requests extra per payment. We do not complete eligibility worksheets or approve exemptions on lines 7–9, military-spouse OW-9-MSE or tribal/nonresident claims. The older certificate's tax-return threshold summary is not substituted for current 2026 withholding tables.
Whole-dollar formula tax, then requested extra
Subtract period allowances, apply the printed percentage row, then round the computed tax once to the nearest whole dollar: below 50 cents down, 50 cents or more up. Do not first round raw tax to cents and then round again. Copy the requested line 6 extra separately once, after the formula amount; federal extra remains separate. The official married/two-allowance semimonthly$1,825 example gives$36.67 before whole-dollar rounding and$37 formula withholding.
Bonus and qualifying benefits
Entered annual bonus, recurring overtime and taxable tips are averaged into representative regular taxable wages. This does not reconstruct a separately paid bonus, irregular payroll, actual payment dates or YTD history. Only qualifying pretax deductions reduce the estimate's taxable base; taxable/Roth benefits remain taxable. Confirm actual benefit tax treatment with your employer.
Employee costs and legal coverage
Employer unemployment taxes and workers compensation premiums are not deducted from employee pay. Federal and state coverage, minimum wage, tip treatment, exempt status, legal regular rates, lawful deductions and overtime entitlement need separate review. Entered hours or multipliers do not decide these issues. Special farming/domestic/ministry exclusions, pension/contractor/production loan-out rules, local/interstate credits and full legal payroll compliance are outside this calculator.

Oklahoma paycheck questions
What the Oklahoma estimate includes, which official schedules it uses, and what it deliberately leaves out.
What is a$52,000 Oklahoma salary every two weeks?
With 26 payments, single federal filing, OK-W-4 Single/zero allowances, no extra, benefits, bonus or tips: gross$2,000, state withholding$71 and estimated net$1,619.85. Your actual certificate and payroll can change the result.
Does Married at the higher Single rate use the married table?
No. The 2026 guide says that certificate election uses the applicable Single table. It is independent of the filing status on your federal W-4.
Does this determine whether I am exempt?
No. Certificate worksheets, exemptions, military-spouse documentation, tribal and nonresident eligibility are excluded. Copy your actual election and review the official sources when special rules apply.
