Every calculator on this site is designed for educational and estimation purposes. The results help you understand the shape of your pay — gross, withholding, deductions and net — before you make decisions with official figures.
Your numbers stay on your device
All calculations run locally in your browser. The values you type into a calculator are not stored or transmitted by PaycheckVista, and no account is required. Our Privacy page explains this in detail.
Where the tax rules come from
Tax rules are researched using primary official sources, such as IRS publications and the publications of relevant state and local government agencies. Each calculator names its sources, and the Data sources page lists the specific documents used.
Independence
PaycheckVista is not affiliated with the IRS or any government agency. It is an independent educational resource.
Corrections
If a figure looks wrong, we want to know. Report discrepancies through the Contact page — corrections take priority over new features.
